The
Clubs
Cruzeiro EC: Cruzeiro
Esporte Clube is from the city of Belo Horizonte, in the state of Minas Gerais,
founded on January 2, 1921. It is the only Brazilian team to have
won the triple crown of Brazilian football for winning the Brazilian
League, the Brazilian Cup, and the State Championship in the same
year, accomplishing this feat in 2003. Cruzeiro is one of the oldest
and most traditional clubs in Brazil. They have never been relegated
or removed from the Brazilian. Their development program is considered
to be one of the best in Brazil, including their world class facility
known as Toca da Raposa (Den of the fox) where their budding professional
talent live and train.
We have been taking teams and individuals to
Cruzeiro for over 10 years and have a great relationship with the
club and wonderful experiences training there. Belo Horizonte is the
capital of Minas Gerais and is a city of over two million people.
It was settled in the early 1700s and today is a fascinating contrast
between contemporary and classical architecture including some of
Brazil’s most recognizable architectural icons, most notably the Pampulah
Church.
Vitória EC: Esporte
Clube Vitória is from the city of Salvador in the state of Bahia, founded
on May 13, 1899. Vitoria plays in Brazil’s top division, the Série
A, but more impressive is the list of the players who have been developed
by their youth development programs. Dida, Bibeto, Edilson, Vampeta,
and Alex Alves are just some of the household names in international
Soccer who came out of the Vitoria system and training methods and
went on to international soccer stardom.
Salvador is the capital of
the northeastern Brazilian state of Bahia. It is located on the coast
and is known for its miles of pristine beaches as well as its diverse
cultural attractions
